Darla Mandell Baird
Darla grew up in the floor covering business, but officially started her career with the family-owned company in 1995. Now with over 20 years experience in various areas of operations and administration, Darla’s responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer are to oversee and manage all inside accounting and financial practices for the corporation. In addition to her CFO role, Darla is also responsible for all Human Resources and directs all payroll requirements, vendor procurement and inventory levels for the company.
Lou Mandell, Jr.
Lou provides professional management by overseeing all daily operations of sales, project manager/estimating staff, and field technicians. His 20+ years of experience with ProCarpet assures our clients will receive successful completion of their projects in every aspect. Lou has become a valuable resource with his creative solutions to challenging floorcovering situations. He takes enormous pride in having built the best team of in-house installation technicians anywhere, devoted to continuous skills improvement and ongoing education. ProCarpet’s innovative apprenticeship program has produced a reliable source of installers, as well as an extremely high standard of workmanship.
Office Manager & Project Admin
Linda has been a dedicated member of the Pro Carpet team for over 28 years! As executive administrator, her office management skills have assisted in establishing Pro Carpet as well
run organization. Linda’s responsibilities include contract administration, qualification of subcontractors and our in-house installation staff, insurance requirements, and certified
payroll. Linda enables our financial administrators to accurately track job cost analysis, as well as contract review with facilitation of submissions, insurances and signatures. To round off her considerable list of skills, she helps manage accounts receivable, billing and collections.
Taylor started her career with ProCarpet in 2013 as the third generation member of the family business. Taylor is the billing specialist for property management accounts.
Daryn provides exceptional customer service by directing and organizing the installation schedules for our property management division.
John is another shining star on the ProCarpet team, with over 25 years with the company. He prides himself in running a productive and organized warehouse. John’s responsibilities include daily organization of staging materials for our mechanics to deploy to each project scheduled. He tracks orders from manufacturers to assist in scheduling and provides ongoing communication to the project managers. John is highly skilled in organizing and implementing stock, as well as reordering of materials. There is no one better at managing warehouse staff for unloading, delivery services, inventory control and cutting of materials.
Senior Project Executive
Jason’s extensive background was established by being a third generation flooring specialist, learning the business from the ground up as a mechanic. In 2005, he joined ProCarpet as an industry professional, skilled with vast knowledge of product and installation procedures, as
well as B2B sales and relationship-building. He is responsible for developing estimates, contract execution, and project management to successful completion. Jason is considered one of the top professionals in his field. He specializes in target markets across the state of NY for K-12, Higher Education and Municipal projects.
Account & Project Manager
After graduating with a Bachelors in Political Science and minor in Interpersonal communications from SUNY Brockport, Michael began his career with Wegmans Food Markets Inc. As a manager of several depts, his skills were honed to create processes to increase profitability. He also managed over 40 employees assisting them to develop their careers with exceptional customer service skills.
Michael is a great addition to the team at ProCarpet, his responsibilities include developing sales with new customer relationships, estimating, and project management. Excellence in customer service is something you can rely on with Michael.
Tom started his career in the flooring industry in 2010, after graduating with a degree in Business/Law from Monroe Community College. Beginning in the warehouse, Tom quickly advanced to estimating and supervision of project operations. Promoted to project
management, he was responsible for client communications and the successful completion of several high-profile projects.
Tom’s new role as Chief Estimator and Senior Project Manager enables him to continue creating new customers, maintaining current relationships and supporting the growth of ProCarpet’s business model.
Nick served for 18 years as President of his own commercial paint and wall covering
company. In 2006, Nick joined ProCarpet, bringing his extensive expertise in all varieties of wall covering, Nick’s presence has allowed ProCarpet to expand their offerings and become a single source for combined flooring and painting projects. Nick’s responsible for sales, estimating and project managing his flooring and paint division accounts which include top corporate clients. With Nick in charge, our customers have come to expect a high level of workmanship.
Craig is a consummate professional with over 35 years in the flooring industry and has served ProCarpet as a valuable team member for over 25 years. Craig started as an installation specialist in which he gained valuable knowledge, and led him to being named as project manager. His expertise is in estimating both commercial and property management projects. Craig has obtained great reputation for customer service, focusing on completing projects with excellence, leading to long-term customer retention.

Outside Sales Representative
Chuck comes from a long line of flooring professionals, starting his career in 1977 working for the family business. For almost 30 years, Chuck has built his expertise in all aspects of the flooring industry. In recognition of his extensive knowledge, he has earned numerous flooring certifications, and continuing education in all flooring types. Since joining us in 2006, Chuck has grown ProCarpet’s Multi-Family division, focusing on servicing the large and growing apartment market. Because of his wide breacth of knowledge, ProCarpet (as well as his customers) relies on Chuck for new apartment builds and renovations to existing properties as well.
Residential Sales Representative
With over 30 years of experience in floor covering, Dave has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the industry. Since joining ProCarpet in 2001, Dave works exclusively with new home construction accounts, our retail showroom clients and our loyal repeat customers. He has earned a reputation for honesty and commitment to great customer service. Our retail customers often rely on Dave to provide design consultations, guidance with product selections and complete follow-thru with quality installations.

Branch & Project Manager
Phil started his career in the early 90’s as a Facilities Planner and in 1997 became a Project Manager in the Commercial Flooring Industry. He has gained extensive knowledge in his more than 20 years of experience along with a reputation for being an honest, dedicated, and detail-oriented professional. Phil joined the ProCarpet team in 2018 and is excited for the opportunity to serve Western Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas. He is committed to providing exceptional service and maintaining long-lasting relationships with his clients.
