MEET THE TEAM
Lou & Eileen established Pro Carpet in 1979 as a janitorial and carpet cleaning business, which focused primarily on
property management and the multi-family markets. Getting into the sales and installation side of floor covering was
almost by accident. A few years after starting the business, they were approached by a customer and asked if they could supply and install flooring for them. Not knowing much about this part of the flooring business, they did their research and decided to accept the offer. For a few years, Pro Carpet operated out of their house with the garage
doubling as warehouse. Through hard work and dedication to their customers, the sales and installation side of the business took off dramatically, and the need for more office and warehouse space became a necessity. In 1983 they built a 3,600 sq. ft. facility and believed they had more room than their business would ever need. Just 3 years later another 3,600 sq. ft. was added. As Pro Carpet continued to grow, subsequent additions brought the current facility to 26,000 sq. ft.
One thing has never changed during the last 40+ years- Lou & Eileen’s personal attention to each and every customer and their commitment to providing the best service and pricing possible. Their work ethic and customer commitment has become a cornerstone of the culture at Pro Carpet, and is exhibited by each of their employees today.
